His talent extends to more fields of virtuosity.

Having gone through a remarkable careeras a virtuoso soloist and chief musician, recording performances with some of the most important orchestras internationally, but also as a composer, through his long discography, particularly with the German ECM, Vassilis Tsabropoulos has been devoting himself, in recent years, to music arising from his philosophical reflection.

Having immersed himself in philosophical thought, throughout the studies of his youth, and while achieving the highest level studies in France (Sorbonne, Conservatoire de Paris) and America (Juilliard School), he attempts to revive in his musical inspiration the Pythagorean healing power of music.

A musical touch to the soul that heals disharmony and becomes a bridge of the primordial philosophy of its Greek origin with the world of today but also offers a different dimension of the way in which we are invited to enjoy listening to music and musical knowledge.

Starting with the healing power of music through Pythagorean meditation Vassilis seeks the refuges of the sacred sound that accompany the faith of every people and attempts to reveal an archetype. The archetype of musical language that can heal.

"Vassilis Tsabropoulos is indeed a very rare case of a musician. He is a musician of pleasure, of creation away from clichés and poses. A charming and immediately communicative performer, an inner composer whose notes hide a mystery, a conductor full of energy and passion. A musical completer who perhaps follows the path of musical completeness opened by Leonard Bernstein." Times of London

“It is not enough to love music. As much as you want it, your love will not work like this, ‘by nature’ Music must love you ‘by grace’, offering its magic spell, the secret way to love it, to conquer it, as much as it allows. This secret path is called talent.”
